It gives me great pleasure to invite you to take an initial peek into the heart that beats behind the appealing facade of Greencity PU College. I thank you for your interest in this exceptional institution which has recorded decades of constant development, in the course of which it has accomplished much, making it one of the colleges recognized for its excellence and therefore, much sought after by the fresh applicants.
The Greencity PU College tradition happily brings together sound academic achievement with an extensive, vibrant co-curricular programme that includes sports, and leadership training programmes. Our mission is to inculcate the love of knowledge in our students and, for this, we aim to develop the skills and demeanour of lifelong 'learning,' essential for making responsible global citizens. This will make them immensely capable of facing the future with resilience and optimism. On the deeper level, we try to instil the values of respect and trust in relationships that are the foundation of real success.
At Greencity then, we believe that 'education' is a wholesome, holistic exercise and as such we strive to give a whole new meaning to the word. Coupling this basic premise with the idea of a sense of belonging to one family—the Greencity family—we look at ourselves as 'care-givers.' We care for the mind—ours is a sterling academic institution; we care for the person—the accent is on the all-round development of personality. It's a matter of pride to pen down the message, and my heart fills with immense pleasure as I perceive the progress being made at GCIS. Indeed, it has been an eventful journey since the inception of the school in 2005. Today we can proudly say that what began as a dream has successfully made its mark in the education sector.
Narayana Educational Trust with the sole objective of doing social service and lessening the burden of the poor and needy. As years rolled, its objectives grew multidirectional, and today the trust has become the talk of the town in Malur taluk and Kolar District. Sensing that education alone can make the society self-reliant. The trust extended its helping arms to provide quality education from kindergarten to Pre – University courses and prepare the students to face the challenges.
The Motto of the trust is to equip students with skills that are essential in every walk of life.
The unique blend of academics, co-curricular activities, and value education imparted at school continues to set it apart from the crowd.
It remains my humble wish that GCIS continues to shine as a lighthouse of goodness and truthfulness, and in addition to academics, the young ones who pass out may become caring, productive, and responsible citizens and future leaders of the country.
